I can get this at a QS place right? I would LOVE to try it. But I am using the QSDP in November. My plan is this though. I live in Jacksonville, FL. So I plan on leaving about 8AM and hopefully get to Disney around 10ish. Do you guys think I will be able to have some then? Without a reservation since I don't know for sure when I will be arriving.

Here is the breakfast menu from Captain Cook's Snack Company at the
Polynesian

Yes, you can get Tonga Toast without a reservation.

Enjoy,
Linda

As stated above, you can get it at Captain Cooks CS at Poly, but it doesn't come with the strawberry compote that they serve it with at Kona. If that doesn't matter to you, then you're in luck!

Yes, very true - no strawberry compote.

Not sure when you are going in November (we will be down there for Thanksgiving) but we were there a few years ago for Thanksgiving and they have limited parking at the Poly if you are not a guest or do not have reservations. I think they wanted us to drive to the TTC and then take the monorail over. Just wanted to let you know as you are driving. Other weekends you should be fine but it was very crowded Thanksgiving week.

Thanks for asking. I had no idea that you could get tonga toast at captain cooks. :thumbsup2

We tried to order it as a side at Kona last month, no one wanted it for their main breakfast entree and we were told no :( So we had to order an extra meal just so everyone could try it LOL The kids used the strawberry compote on their pancakes....didn't realize that was for the Tonga Toast. We got ours with fruit instead of meat and it was 11.00 or 12.00? Now I wish I'd known and we would have just gotten some at Capt Cooks on the way out, sounds cheaper.
