Just a random thought for the day. Is it time for Tomorrowland WDW to go? It is my least favorite area in all of WDW. It doesn't even make sense anymore. At least make it tomorrowland 2016. Not Tomorrowland 1955. Space mountain is the only attraction even worth riding in there for me. Or maybe I'm the only person who feels this way.

meh

Tomorrowland is great as is, though I might retheme Stitch's Great Escape. Buzz fits just fine, and Monsters Inc. is a stretch, but it's such a fun attraction that I don't mind.

I can see how you'd think it'd be sorta meh. It definitely is outdated to some extent. But I like its retro appeal and I almost wish they'd tap more into that. I think it would be cool to see them do a ride, interactive exhibit, or something that is themed specifically along of the lines of "here is where we thought we'd be in the 2000s" and run like crazy with it (flying cars, jet packs, floating cities, etc., ... on second thought they could just bring back Horizons into Tomorrowland).

But admittedly, it's a particularly hard themed area to keep up just because technology is so rapidly changing and advancing. A goofy looking robot awaiting some intergalactic space flight (seen on the TTA) loses some appeal when you have a computer in your pocket more powerful than that of the one used to get us to the moon. At least in Adventureland or Fantasyland things can generally stay the same over time without suffering from that outdated look (to an extent).

I like Tomorrowland but... Stitch has GOT TO GO! And Tomorrowland speedway could use an update as far as better cars, etc.

Keep most of Tomorrowland as is (Space Mountain, Peoplemover, Carousel of Progress, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor). Possibly retheme Buzz to make it a little more fun (like Midway Mania where you can clearly see where you are shooting). Definitely retheme Stitch's great escape and Tomorrowland Speedway.

Suprised more people don't feel as I do. It just seems out of place the way it is.

I love Space mountain, buzz, carousel of progress, people mover. I like the retro feel. :)

The speedway needs to go and something new put in that spot, and Stitch needs something else too.

I don't think it needs to go but it does rival the original Fantasy Land as the area most in need of a facelift. I remember having a supreme disappointment in the look of it after the big redo years ago and it certainly hasn't aged well at all. I agree trying to keep it futuristic looking is a lost cause so a retro future treatment would probably be the best way to go. While I do like the Jules Verne steampunk look I think just running with the original DL look of the future would be a nice way to recapture the fun of the 50s and 60s view of the future.

I love the atmosphere of Tomorrowland, especially at night. Of course, Stitch and the Speedway can make their exit any time and I'd be fine, but overall I think it's a great area.

I would love to see it going back to being an interconnected spaceport with the "TTA" themed attractions mingled throughout instead of having those Disney movie attractions. (While some of the Disney attractions are good, they just don't fit the "theme" of the area)

I'd think with the show Miles from Tomorrowland that they could do that .. since that show is all about the "TTA" universe.

I DO like Space Mt and Buzz and the Carousel and the TTA.
You could put 3 good things in place of the Speedway all the space it takes up. Stitch was better before the facelift. And I'm not sure how Monsters Comedy club fits into the overall theme of Tomorowland.
I really liked the old Timekeeper attraction they used to have with Robin Williams. And I haven't ridden the astro orbiter in years as the line is always more than I'm willing to invest in it.

Well, I'm definitely not hating on DW. It is my favorite place on earth. Tomorrowland is just my least favorite. I go ride SM then leave. I agree what others have said. Stitch is the worst attraction Disney has. Not much in TL that is even TL themed.
