We ride it first off when we first get to MK and then try to make it our last ride before leaving WDW!! And several times in between!!! We all just love this one. So relaxing.
'Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr Tom Morrow. Your party from Saturn has arrived. Please give them a ring.' Yep, love it.

This is one of my favorite rides. I can't ride Space Mountain, so this is the closest that I will ever get to it.

We love this ride, obviously not for thrill value, but to me its a piece of Magic Kingdom history. It's also a place to rest and look at the scenery going by on a hot afternoon, with a little shelter from the hot afternoon sun thrown in. I hope they never close it. I have yet to see Mr. Tom Morrow. That guy is always late.

Shhhhhh... Dont tell anyone, but its a great place to sneak in a nice (but short) smooch without grossing out everyone else!!! (If you have the car to yourself and you know the ride well) its also a great place for a quick nap, or a light snack! Ive done all 3 many times! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :cool1:

We've been to WDW over 38 visits since 1977 and have never missed this ride. One of the original rides still being used, not a thrill ride but to us, a Disney ride or attraction. To us, Disney is a land of attractions, not really rides, but some are and we get a thrill out of the originals, Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion and COP. They are the best around, we relax, view Tommorrowland from above, glimpse Space Mountain's insides. We wish they had the TTA track through the whole of the MK to give yiu a perspective and layout of the park. Plus we enjoy the thought of being moved by magnets instead of electric motors, state of the art way back in the early 70's. Hope it always stays and grows.

It can never really "grow", the futuristic looking "train" would look kinda funny going through frontierland. It would be nice if it could though. I understand what your saying. Maybe someday when holograms become more commonplace it could "transform" into different trains at different lands. Kinda like the Ghost Host! :rotfl:

Ever since I began going to WDW in the early 70s, during my early years, I started my trip on the TTA. A ride on the "People Mover" meant that I was AT DISNEY (now, a ride on the TTA means that I am AT MK)!
It is an oldie but a goodie. I just the the happy memories brought back by the "old" rides.

This year, DBF was running like a child for Space Mt. the minute we got there. Thirty - five and his first visit to MK. I indulged him. And I have to say, it simply felt wrong to not have my first ride be the TTA! Never again.

We also still call it the "People Mover". Be aware that parts of it are DARK. If you have a child who is afraid of the dark or "dark rides" they will be afraid of the TTA. I bought a small penlight with a Minnie Mouse on it at the Emporium for my DD when she went through that stage. She used it on all the dark rides. It was bright enough to give her comfort and control over her environment but not bright enough to bother the other people on the ride.

No way would we miss a ride on the TTA. First of all, it's one of the originals. It was called the Wedway People Mover. Second of all, like a lot of other people have said, it's a nice break. You get great views of the castle and Tomorrowland. It's really really fun.

I think the best thing to do is get a fastpass for either Space Mountain or buzz and then hang out in Tomorrowland and do both TTA and the Carousel of Progress. That way, you can get a lot of fun things done while you are waiting for your fastpass to kick in.
