Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party????

Does anyone know what is going on with the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party after July 4? I have been watching the calendar and the reservations have stopped after July 4. I was hoping to book for July 28. Any ideas???

It may just not be available the dessert party is very limited and hard to get. They also don't release the reservations at 180 days all the time either. Many times it's less than 180 days.

Good to know...thanks. I am about 150 days out and the calendar for July and August have been "grey" for months after July 4. I guess they haven't released those dates yet.

I was able to get 7/4. The employee I spoke with on the phone said they aren't sure when the next set will be released.

On other posts I've seen about this some have heard that they are possible replacing the party or doing away with it This was from a CM when they called reservations I believe so take it with a grain of salt. I, too, am watching closely and hoping for an Aug party date.

That would be a huge bummer. I was really wanting to go to the party. When I have called I am always told that they don't know when the dates will open and to keep watching. Not the answers I want to hear! Thanks?

frontline CMs don't know much. Disney does not release party adrs at 180 all the time it changes all the time. Best thing to do is keep checking. I have not seen a single indication that it's going away. They make a good amount of money from it.

From what I've heard (relative of CM), it is changing into some other sort of experience (no idea what though!) and will be much more expensive. But it is not going away.

Of course it will be more expensive Probably triple the price and Frozen themed!

Well this was the year we thought we would do it, but not at too much more. The price for a family was already a bit steep. I just hate being packed into the sardine can of firework watchers!

Just did this last week. Daughter said to CM at the party see you next year and the CM said to me it would not be the same and that it is going to be much more elaborate.

I talked to a CM today and the answer I got was that "dates haven't been released for July and August yet. Keep checking back."

I don't think they would get rid of it. It is packed every time and hard to get a reservation for. The ADR's don't open the same time as the rest. You have to watch and swoop up an ADR as soon as you see it open! We love the dessert party!!!

I'm doing this with my older son in April. We are really looking forward to it. It seems like a lot of fun. I hope they don't do away with it.

I think they are keeping it, but something tells me they are going to find a way to "upgrade" it and charge more for it. Perhaps add alcohol like all of the Frozen dessert parties at DHS? Or add something else like merchandise?

The Frozen dessert parties were $60 for an adult and $40 for children, versus $28 and $15 right now for TML.

Let's hope not!

Although booking the dessert party has been better as of late, I remember for years it was VERY erratic on when they would make dates available (I'm talking 30-60 days beforehand!), so I wouldn't be worried, just checking daily, if it were me.

I was on the phone booking some tours this morning for our late Aug/early Sept trip and asked the CM about this and he stuck with the official "haven't gotten any bulletin or notification on this yet", but then we just started chatted and speculating. He was hoping they may be making a change that would allow for more people to attend since it's so popular and books up so quickly. No clue how/where they would be able to do that though.

Personally, I can't see them getting rid of this because of the popularity. What I can totally see is revamping it a bit and very likely increasing the cost. They will sell out regardless, but it would help with the supply/demand problem a little bit so that someone who isn't on the phone exactly 180 days out may still have a chance to book. I would actually be totally okay with paying a little more for it, especially if they expand the food offerings a bit.

Oh, and this same CM said he expects updated calendar next week for September. I guess time will tell!

Good info! I wonder how they could fit more people? I just hope they don't add alcohol and jack up the price.

I looked for it this morning to check openings in June and it wouldn't even pull up the restaurant? Strange. When I pulled up an alphabetical list of the restaurants it was there, though.
