Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party Sit-Down

I'm thinking about doing the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party where you sit down at the tables at the railing on Sunday September 3 (Labor Day Weekend). Is this something I need to book ahead of time? I'd just hate to book it and then have the fireworks canceled due to weather. I wouldn't feel very good paying for 4 people and only get dessert.

Is this something I can book the day of?

I wouldn't count on it. The terrace seating seems to fill up farther in advance than garden viewing. Right now, there is some availability, but I don't know how long that will last (especially because it will be after Halloween parties start, so limited days for people to see HEA). Also, you aren't guaranteed a table at a railing-I think most people say everyone just stands at the railing for the show anyways. If you do book, remember there is a 5-day cancellation policy.

Agree with PP. I'm actually very surprised there is availability for the TT seated version that close. If you want to do it, DO NOT wait until day of unless you're OK with the risk of it not being available.
