Tomorrowland Speedway Height Question

So I think my 2 year old would love the Tomorrowland Speedway ride but the FastPass + page says 32 inches minimum but my other daughter's Birnbaums WDW for Kids book says 54 inches minimum. Is it just 54 inches to drive the car? Or you have to be 54 inches to ride the actual ride?? TIA!

Minimum 32 inches (81cm) to ride. Must be at least 54 inches (137 cm) to drive.

54 inches to drive by themselves. 32 inches to ride/drive with someone 54 inches or above. So, little kids can drive but need to be accompanied.

My son loved that ride on our first trip when he was 2 1/2. My husband rode with him, and he didn't want to leave when the ride was over.

He was pretty upset so we let him sit in a model car outside the exit where he pretended to drive. He took a terrible-two tantrum when we pulled him out to move on. LOL!

The child can "drive", hold the steering wheel some.

As previously mentioned, if 32" or over, the child can drive with someone over 54" in the car.

The adult/taller person will need to push the pedal though, and the child can "steer". Also, the child has to sit on the seat and cannot sit on a lap.

If you are thinking about doing this, I would recommend a FastPass (you might be able to get it as a 4th FastPass later in the day). The only reason I say that is bc the fumes are pretty bad, and I wouldn't want to do a long wait there.

Good point. We added a FP for it yesterday. I have a 5 year old too so I needed more ideas about rides for her to go on while her older sister was on the roller coasters and "big kid" rides... and I was so excited when I measured her at 33 inches tall!! Yay for more options!!!!
