Tomorrowland lighting reduced?

Did Disney reduce the amount of colored lighting in Tomorrowland at night in the last year or so? I remember being stunned by the variety of colors everywhere on my trip in October 2010, but when I went in September 2011, it didn't live up to my recollections from the earlier trip. I don't have pictures of Tomorrowland at night from each trip to compare so I'm not sure if I might just be remembering incorrectly. Can anyone confirm this either way?

I noticed it too. Last Sept, my DH took some great pictures of TM at night, and the underside of the TTA had brightly colored lights, of all different colors - it was so beautiful. In June, the only color we saw under the TTA at night was red. Don't know if we just missed the other colors, but it was much better with all of the colors.

Yes, it was the TTA (purple lighting on the quarter-circle pieces protruding around the track) and the Astro Orbitor that really stuck out to me as missing/reduced. Maybe it was an anomaly during my trip, but I hope it goes back to its full glory!

With all the cutbacks Disney has been making, I would think it is a possibility.:rolleyes:

They didn't. That is what is called a HDR picture. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging)

They actually DID add a new lighting system to TTA during it's last major refurb (same time as they refurbed Space Mtn.)

So HDR photo notwithstanding, the lighting effects in Tomorrowland have been enhanced within the past few years.

Now, whether they have been actually operating the new animated LED lighting effects on the TTA recently is another story... don't know about that.
But, as inexpensive as these lights are to run, I don't know why they'd stop operation.

the colored LED lights were not on the TTA 9/17-9/25. Just the white lights were on. Also, none of the planets/moons on the astro orbitor that normally spin were not spinning that week. The entire sculpture was stationary during the day and night. Not sure what was going on, but I was also disappointed.
