Kitty, I'm glad you're feeling well enough to got out. Enjoy Target. I was there today, just looking and buying. I love the end cap specials, too, the housewares section is always fun, lots of bright cheery stuff.

Don't stuff yourself too much at Old Country Buffet, we're going there on Sunday so save some stuff for me! That is, if you're going to Deptford.

I was SO excited when our Target opened here! LOL! I love it! Just went in there tonight...went in to spend about $40 and came out with $90 worth of stuff. That seems to happen a lot.

I call Target the "$100 Store" because I usually spend that much when I go there LOL. I just can't resist all the cute stuff (plus I buy all my paper goods, cleaners, sundries, etc.). DS15 was just saying tonight that we haven't been to Target for a week and we have to go tomorrow. We have a Super Target and Target within 2 miles of our house. They are remodeling the regular Target so we will probably go to the Super Target.

I have to say i have a wal mart and a target across the street from each other
I shop at wal mart more often
nothing against Target i just find better selection and prices normally

that being said I agree with what several posters have said
I LOVE the END CAP deals at Target
they are the BEST

Have fun at Target'! I LOVE that store!!! I used to work there for quite awhile (the 10% employee discount was Great, I miss that!) Anyhow, I too buy lots of clearance stuff from there, actually I don't think I Ever buy Anything full price at Target! I find myself buying stuff that I really don't even need just b/c the prices are too good to pass up! I've purchased shirts & shoes for as low as $1.24 each....YES One dollar and twenty four cents!!! (Note: When the price ends in a 4 like that, ex. .04/.24 - That means it is the Rock Bottom Low, Low, LOW price!)

Also, What's *Really* interesting is: I remember when I first started working there (back in the day) during my training, I heard numerous x's from management about how the company strived to be just like Disney - Service wise! Pretty cool, huh?! Take notice that when you shop there....they will refer to you as their "guest". Just some misc., useless info. for ya But cool nonetheless!

Hey Kitty, Have fun shopping at Tarjet- it's one of my favorite places (and my boyfriend HATES it) I love the endcap clearances. The dollar spot is great (Today the Blue Spot merchandise was 75% off, so I got a BUNCH of socks for a quarter! each) and of course they have some REALLY cute housewears. They always have a good discount on makeup too.

Happy Birthday, and happy Target-ing! I love heading to Target (as my tag indicates), as long as I don't have DH with me to distract me from my mission...he's not so keen on following one path through the store to hit all my favorite places. I completely agree about browsing through all the end-cap clearance sections and the clearance clothing. I've found some amazing deals that way over the years. I always browse through the jewelry section and other accessories - I think all my purses and handbags are from Target! I love the housewares, scrapbooking, clothing, shoes, office supplies,...I could go on and on...

Oh, and I love the Choxie chocolate! My favorite is the peanut-butter pretzel chocolate bars, although I've had a hard time finding them lately. Target always has some really cute seasonal decorations and accessories as well. I head to Target after each holiday to get the left-overs on clearance - I like to buy the gift baskets on clearance, then take them apart and mix and match with other things to create birthday/congrats/etc. gifts for friends and family.

I have been to Target maybe 10 times in my life? I love it, but there's non within driving distance of me, so I've only been able to go while travelling.

It's probably a good thing I can't go there all the time though!!!

Hope you has a good time and found some good deals. I like checking the clearance deals. Some are awesome.They hide some on the end caps away from main aisle. I have got some good gift wrap,houseware,drug store and stationary items. We love the dollar section.Some of the clothes are cute.
