This trip has really snuck up on us! I have the kids packed and today DH & I will pack. Last week was DS8's last week of school and we got through all that. Every day of the week I had a list of things I needed to get done. Today I need to clean the bird cages and wash the kitchen floor. (I hate to come home to a dirty house)
This trip we are trying two new resorts (to us) and trying splitting stays for the first time. We are also leaving the kids (DS8 & DD4) at child care for the first time (Simba's cubhouse) while DH & I have a dinner alone (Boma's). We will also be doing the sunrise safari at ak for the first time. And we have a ps for the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway. While we are there we will be celebrating our 16th anniversary (6/21) and have a ps for the garden grill to (hopefully) do the re-hitching ceremony.
This is our first trip in June and we are not sure what to expect for crowds and heat. The kids have been told that we might not be able to do everything and they are ok with that. They both have their lists of things they want to do and they are certainly do-able. DH has been working long hours lately and it will be good to re-connect as a family.
Wish I could fit you all in our suitcases but they are probably exceeding the weigh limit already!
