For those of you whom have been in the peak of the summer, is it worth spending this money to go to this party for a fireworks viewing site and food? Traveling with a party of 8. would cost over $200.

I've just booked this for DDs 10th birthday at the end of August. It's something special.

We did it a few years back and the food was okay, we mainly did it for a decent view, a seat, and not being squished with the thousands out on Main Street.

Did it last July and we loved it!! I'm trying to get it again for this July with no luck. I would say yes!!

Thanks. I was wondering only because DH not a crowd person. I did not check the crowds prior to booking and it will be 8 or 9 everyday.

We have never done it but have heard rave reviews for it so we booked for August. Can't wait!

This summer will be our 3rd time going. In my mind, with all the money we spend on a WDW vacation it's WELL worth the money.

In fact, the dessert party was our Christmas gift for my brother in law and his family, and my sister in law and her husband, all of whom will be joining us at WDW this summer.

Not only do you get a delightful array of desserts, but you get a SEAT for Wishes!!! With a hot cup of coffee (or in my case, tea.) And there's a Photopass photographer there to get some wonderful pictures of you with the Castle as a backdrop; because you're elevated a little, there aren't people photobombing the background. There's even a bathroom nearby.

So our family of 11 can sit together at a table and enjoy Wishes. Then linger for a bit and let the crowds pass us by as we finish that last brownie.

I reccommend it VERY highly!!!

Such an amazing experience and worth every penny. We were there in June and it was so hot and crowded and this was the perfect relief. We had a good view of the parade and the best view of the fireworks. Seeing Tink come by and be so close was a huge perk. We booked right away and got front row seating. We really didn't have many people standing in front of us(and they only stood as the fireworks started) not restricting our view at all. The treats were super yummy and I even made myself a delicious iced coffee!! Perfect way to avoid crowds and enjoy the fireworks. This is a must for us every trip...but I will always pay extra to avoid the crowds!!;)

I'm looking forward to it as well. I booked it soon when it was available in August and hopefully have a good seat. but it sounds like it all works out well no matter what.
I always hate the crowds for wishes and also hating trying to stake out and keep a spot way ahead of time. So this just sounds much more relaxing.
I only told the kids but not my husband. He absolutely loves to stay for any of the fireworks, much more than me - in fact, I'm usually the damper on it. so, we are surprising him with it.

I did not think we would want to do the TT dessert party when we booked our trip and did not get an ADR at 180 days. We do not care for buffets and usually share a dessert or 2 between the four of us.

After researching I changed my mind! It seems everyone loves it! I started stalking for ADR's and somehow I was able to score 4 spots yesterday for our trip early May! I am assuming the ADR I got was due to someone canceling. Does the time have any connection to assigned seats? My time is 9:10 for 10:00 Wishes. I know that the seats do not matter very much because everyone stands at the rail.

One thing that surprised me was they don't seem to offer hot chocolate!!! Can anyone confirm? If they do not I may bring my own packets as they offer hot water for tea if so. My DH is not a coffee drinker and it would be nice to have warm drinks.

So excited!

It's my understanding that your seats depend on when you made the reservation, not what time the reservation is for. Example: People who booked at 180 days will be closer than those who booked at 30 days.

We were seated about 2 rows back when we went, I made my ADR right when it opened as I was checking it daily and it was only about 4 weeks before the trip if I recall correctly.

Honestly there's a TON of space to move around in front of the tables, and even with people all along the railing (which is LONG, and there's a lot of space to move up there once the pre-show and Wishes starts) we could still see fine. My husband and two year old hung out at the table the whole time. I moved back and forth between the rail and our table. I got lots of wonderful video and photos while there. Next time I'm bringing my tripod and good camera in fact.

It's a great place to watch Wishes! Enjoy!!

I'm all booked for the party, but do I need to obtain physical tickets like from our resort or something before I go?
I linked our reservation up to MDE and it's all paid, so what would stop someone from saying my name at the reservation? Do they use your magic bands for admission?
