Tom Sawyer Island Question

Would anyone know if Tom Sawyer Island is open during PM EMH nights? I was thinking of going over there until the crowds thin out later in the evening. This will be my first time using EMH and I hear the last 2 hours are the best. So to kill an hour I was going to try and find a quieter section.
