Toll Road to Emerald Island

I'm trying to short list the kabillion off-site homes that are out there (and yes, kabillion is a number! ). Google maps shows Emerald Island on a toll road and one owner has told me that it's $1.50 one way Is there another way in and out of the resort so we're not paying $3 every time we want to go somewhere?

Hello, Toll 429 passes right next to Emerald Island but no exit anywhere near it. So if you are staying at EI, driving your car to Disney, Universal, Sea World does not involve any tolls at all. Tolls are an issue if you go to Orlando or Sanford airports or head to east coast beaches. For a drive from north Florida to Disney the tolls roads work great as they save lots of time, but once you are in the Disney area tolls are not issue to get to 90% of the attractions other than Cocoa Beach or Kennedy Space center stuff.

By the way, kabillion is a great description of the number of homes and condos in the area to rent...good luck with your search!
