Which highways in the Orlando area are tolled? How much are the tolls, and how many are there between MCO and DD? We've always driven toll free using Boggy Creek Rd to 192, but this trip we're getting in much later in the day and want to get to our room on Hotel Plaza Blvd. as quickly as possible. Can someone suggest the quickest route?

Take the south exit out of the airport. Get onto 417 south. You will pass through 2 $1 toll booths. After the second one, get off at exit 6, International Drive. Keep going straight until you pass under the WDW Arch. Take the first exit for Downtown Disney.

Tolls have increased when paying cash. Don't know the amount since I use E Pass.

Did they just increase? I paid $1 at each booth to MCO last Sunday afternoon. I'm going back tomorrow, I'll post the new amounts if they did increase since then.

DebbieB. please report back because I may be confused with the Osceola parkway. Thanks.

If it is late at night or early afternoon you can go out the north entrance (Semoran Blvd), left at the first traffic light (onto Frontage), bear left and go a little more than a mile to the next light, two quick lefts without going under anything and you are now on Rte 528 the Bee Line west. One 50 cent toll brings you to I-4. Go west (southwest) on I-4, then get off at Rte 535. Right at bottom of this ramp then first left onto Hotel Plaza. Not much more time then the route suggested above, maybe less because you skip all the Downtown Disney traffic lights.

Coming back to airport, take I-4 east (northeast) (watch signs when leaving Disney) to 528 Bee Line, get off 528 at exit 9 Tradeport, left at bottom of this ramp, get into middle lane, optionally top off gas tank here, right at second of two closely spaced lights (McCoy, becomes Frontage) a little over a mile later is Semoran, turn right to enter airport.

Thanks everyone for your quick response. SeashoreCM - I've printed out the directions and will be following your advice this afternoon! A 50¢ toll is nicer than $2.

For $1.50 savings the traffic is much worse on the Beeline. I live in the area and can tell you it is much more stressful on the Beeline.

Maybe try the Greeneway on your return to the airport.

Our flight is due in around 5:00 tonight (May 1). Will the traffic be bad on a Sunday evening too?

Still $1.00 per toll booth on 417. Very little traffic tonight on 417, we left MCO about 7:00pm. I've done both 417 and I-4/beeline, 417 is worth the extra $.

I will pay the 2.00 to stay OFF the Beeline and I4.
