Ok so I've had a total brain freeze

Can anyone tell me how much change you need for the tolls from MCO please?

Also how do you normally get the change?
I've only got notes and they're all in quite high denominations as the travel agent didn't have smaller :headache:

Is there a shop I can buy a drink from or something?
I really can't remember :confused3

Thanks :thumbsup2

The toll price depends on your starting point and destination. :)

If from MCO to WDW I think it's two tolls of $1.00 and $1.25

In general the cheapest I've seen is .75c and the most expensive is $1.25.

If you aim for a change given toll booth you'll be face to face with an operator so they'll be able to give you change.

What sort of denominations are you talking about by the way? a $10 would be fine and a $20 liveable I think, but if you rolled up with a $50 there might be some raised eyebrows...

Yes, that's exactly what we did last year. 4 bottles of water but each of us queued up and paid for them seperately to get maximum coinage!!! :lmao:

Nicely done! :)

Oh, while I remember, if your rental car has an EZPass or SunPass tag in it, take it down (usually on dash) and put it away.

The car companies try and sell it as an easy way to pay the tolls so you don't have to use cash, what they don't tell you is they charge you a surcharge on every day in goes through a toll. :(

Thanks :goodvibes

I've got a $10 bill so maybe have that to hand if I forget to buy anything - memory like a sieve! ;)

$10 is fine - no need to buy anything...
i've given them a $20 when i didn't have anything smaller...
then after the first toll booth, you have change for the second one..

now i try to hold onto my small bills from trip to trip so i don't have to worry about tips at the outset...

If you take the south exit to SR417 you will have 2 tolls of $1.25 :thumbsup2

Some of the toll plazas require that you go down what looks like an exit ramp when paying cash for tolls. Then you merge back onto the main lanes. Suggest getting a receipt each time if possible.

Quarters are suitable for everything i.e. no need for all kinds of smaller change.

I'd totally forgotten you can get change at the booths :headache:

Have a vivid memory of being somewhere, not having change and the car driver behind me getting out to give me cash so's she could continue her journey..........:rotfl:
