This morning I called to change my room only reservation to a package. I asked the CM if she could check for a pin or code attached to my name. She told me, "No, I'm sorry, they took that option out of our system. If you don't know it, we can't check." I KNEW this was wrong from this board, and I KNEW I had a waterparks, fun and more code attached from a call a few weeks back when I made the room only. I asked her to please double check that information as I knew I had a water parks, fun and more code. She said, " No, No you don't if you don't know the number." I had her price out my package, POP preferred 7 nights, 2 adults, 13 yr old, 10 yr old, Park hoppers with water parks. She quoted me $2301.24. I thanked her. I hung up and called back.

The second time I got someone different, of course, and asked her to please look for a code while she checked my package price. She said, "Oh absolutely, every penny saved is magic!" I was informed I had the waterparks, fun and more code and the IDENTICAL package as above was $1831.28. This CM said she saved me a bit on my room, found the code for the free ticket upgrade, and wished us much Magic and Dreams on our trip. I, of course, booked this offer. :)

We have until 3 days prior to add dining and I am going to run some to decide if it's going to work for us.

It is unreal how the CMs can say whatever they want to callers... and they treat the customer however they choose. It is as if there are no regulations whatsoever. :confused3

Well I am going to try to call. I tried this morning, and while the cm was mice enough, I am guessing I expected her to check on her own. I will call back in a few.

The 3 letter codes are what the CM puts into the computer to spit out, oh wait, I mean apply, the discount to your reservations.

The code you posted is NOT a public code. I would recommend that you edit your post to delete it. It's a pretty big no-no and I hate to see you get points off of it.

$365 is a deluxe savanna room during value (actually mousesaves has $360, but it's close enough :) )

no need to call about that code, it is the code for RACK RATE. I just confirmed it with a CM.

The CM did tell me it was a public code. Although she did say it was a discount code, I guess she was wrong. Thanks for clarifying this - I will be more careful of my wording in the future.

Your CM was right in that it is a public code, as it is just the rack rate code. Whatever your special discount code is, it isn't that one.

:pixiedust: that your code is the 40% one!

PS-hated to see someone get in trouble, I'm a busybody that way. Hope you didn't mind. :flower3:

I called this morning to check on codes and a very nice man checked for me.

Bottom line ... if you don't think the CM is giving you correct info, hang up and call back. I've done the same thing ... some people don't want to do ANYTHING if it means a pinch of extra work on their part.

What are the chances one would have a code or pin attached? We've never gotten something like this, wondering if I shuld make DH call back. We booked mid Oct...but did do AAA w/ our ressie
