DD and DS have 4 linked reservations at BWV. Combination my points and hers with the first 2 days using one time use points. First day she booked one time use point stay. 2nd I booked one time use points. 3rd part she booked and the 4th part of stay I booked using regular points. We called and had all days linked. They do all show up on her MDE site even what I booked. MS then said Don't do on line check in for this booking. Yesterday I called MS because I was having trouble linking DS 10 day NE ticket to this reservation. This MS cast member said I could check in for first night at least to get Magic Bands. DD with out doing on line check in was able to get her FP's she wanted on line. Nothing showing to customize MB. I was able to do mine this morning for my room and guests. Anyway anyone think the MS that said I could do first night check in is correct. I don't want DS to have to move in and out 4 times. We have medical equipment I would not want to haul in and out 4 times. I have had split ressie's before at BWV and not had to move. I don't remember though if I did on line check in for them or not:confused3. Susan

Online check-in has nothing to do with moving or not moving, so don't worry about that.

Since the reservations are all linked, it is very unlikely that you will have to change rooms. You will just have to check out and back in again between the linked reservations. The last time we had linked reservations at BWV, they delivered new keys to us each morning - slipped them under the door.

I think you will be fine. Be sure to mention that you want to stay in the same room when you check in.

We had a linked resie in January...2 parts made by my 2 membership #s. I could not do online check in and called MS who told me that I could not do it because it was a linked resie. If you check in for the 1st night they may have to unlink that part of the resie...though I am not sure about that. If they are linked, you likely won't change rooms (just need new Key Cards like PP mentioned). But if they are unlinked...I don't know what will happen.

:scratchin Thanks for the replies... It does show linked but still 4 seperate check in check out. I have always stayed in same room with new keys slide under the door. Don't want to mess that up.

I doubt online check-in would have anything to do whether you need to move, but the system does have glitches with linked reservations and those that involve more than one DVC Member number.
