Tokyo Dining or Teppan Edo ?

Here's our plan, we're landing in MCO around 5pm and I *have* to be in Epcot by 8pm to catch the last Slippery When Wet concert that night. So we're going for a very late dinner here. Both places have availability for 8.50PM.

Do you think we have a shot at getting a window table at Tokyo Dining to see Illuminations if our ADR is that late ? Teppan Edo looks like a funnier place to eat at but then we'd miss Illuminations entirely (although we'll have opportunity to see it again that week).

As far as food goes we'll probably eat sushi whichever place we go to.

I agree with PP's. I personally like Teppan Edo better, but if you're going for sushi and worried about Illuminations, then do Tokoyo Dining.

Am I correct in assuming that the tip at Teppan Edo goes to the Hibachi Chef or is there also a server who gets tipped? If it's both, how is that handled? Am I to slip the chef a twenty and leave the server a tip with my payment??

I'm not sure how they are divided, but I just tip on the bill. I don't give the chef anything additional.
