You are presented with two menus, one is sushi, the other is everything else, though some of the combo plates on the second main menu include sushi as a component.
From the sushi menu just the combination plate and deluxe plate (the last two entries I think) can be ordered as entrees. From the other menu you can choose any item or combo plate for your entree. For the not too adventurous eaters there is plain grilled steak, chicken breast, or salmon, each served with your choice of a side sauce, and they are suprisingly good.
If you are on the Deluxe plan and get an appetizer you cannot choose those from the a la carte sushi menu. Those items are just OOP side orders. There are appetizers on the main menu you can order.
Since we are two adults I'm not well versed in the kid's menu, but they do serve it on a cute bullet train plate, similar in appearence to a monorail car. We often see lots of kids and teens there and they seem to enjoy it.
The ordering sounds complicated until you do it, in reality it's very easy and the CMs are very helpful. The confusion is about having two menus to order from.
