Hi everyone!

I just got off the phone with my travel agent, TravelMagic.

We booked the Poly for July 2008. I explained to her that we wanted a relaxing vacation and the only must have was a balcony (we are booking a garden view). She said she thought we should request Tokelau.

I know a request is just that, a request. But I'd love to hear some positive thoughts on Tokelau. Or any other garden view suggestions!

Sorry for the excitement but we just hung up the phone after discussing all our Disney plans so I am at optimum Disney joy right now!

Although we haven't stayed there yet(very soon though), we requested the Tokelua garen view. We picked it because it seems like it has the best "view" of the garden views. It's also away from the GCH, so I don't think it gets a lot of foot traffic. It's also one of the newer longhouses that have balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

we were in tokelau in august, not on the pool side. we loved the location. it was right by the quiet pool, a quick walk from the volcano pool and the GCH. also a quick walk to the TTC. it seemed to be perfectly located for us. we really loved it!

We requested Tokelau last year but got Figi instead - I am so glad, WE LOVED THERE! We got a room on the first floor that overlooked and opened right up to the beach beteen the Poly and GF. It was just perfect - beautiful view of the beach and close to the main longhouse for quick access to the food and monorail.

Sometimes, you have to just let the Disney magic do its magic!

We requested and got Tokelau in Sept. and were very happy there! My absolute favorite part of being in Tokelau was turning right out of my room, walking to the end of the hall, opening the door to the outside staircase (3rd floor), and seeing the castle sitting right there welcoming me outside. What a great sight to walk out to!!!

Great location - close to GCH (walk to front of the resort and walk through Rapa Nui to get there quickly), close to quiet pool, quick walk to Volcano pool (we always walked along the beach in front of Hawaii - fun to look at the castle as we walked), close to the bus stop, and close to TTC. Can't beat it!!!

We were in Tokelau on the quiet pool side, 1st floor in April and we loved it. Very central location yet no issues at all with noise. Here are a few pics from our patio/lawn area:

I will put in another vote for Tokelau, We requested Fiji, Samoa, Tokelau in that order. We also requested 1st or 3rd floor. When I checked in, they said the only thing that met my requests was a 1st floor Tokelau, so I said great. It wasn't ready, but when I called back at 3, we were told we had room 1914. Which is really one of the best Garden Views around. You look out to the beach that is in front of the Hawaii building and can see the boat dock and the wedding pavillion. And at night there were alot of torches. We paid for Garden View, with an AP discount and got a great beach view.

Tokelau's hallways are also alot larger than most of the other buildings, which makes it more comfortable just walking to your room.

We were in Tokelau garden view, not the quiet pool side, on the second floor. The room view was nice, and if you looked left you could see the beach, lagoon, and the contemporary.

Please ignore Norwegian Pluto in the pic ;)

If you take jlcd's shots and go out to the last group of trees, that's where our room was - three from the end.

I'm not going to get your hopes up but the view was FANTASTIC! And all I asked for was a nice view from the balcony. The other side was just as nice.

BTW - if you go over to the side towards Magic Kingdom, you can see The Kiss Goodnight right from the resort. I think it's better from a distance.
