I searched for the thread...results were from last season. Is there a current one?

I'm sorry, I just don't get that name "Keetra". Seriously?!!! And the preference she places on her younger girl, over her oldest (Kylie?) is just terrible.

Watching it now. My heart breaks for the older sister..so sad~

Logan did not seem to enjoy any of it at any time. Maybe her mom can help "bring out her personality" if she finds an activity she enjoys! DS watches this show with me (don't tell him I told you! ;)) and when Logan's mom said she was worried about her eczema because they had an upcoming pageant, he was like shouldn't she be worried just because her little girl has a medical problem. He's got more of a clue than these moms.

I hated how Keetra couldn't just be happy for the older sister, she had to justify her win by saying it was because she was a 6 year old competing against 4 year olds. :sad2:

I can't believe how Logan's mother was dragging her around! How is that ok in a "contest" situation. She wasn't disciplining, she was ...

Exactly. How does she not see that her kid just doesn't care about pageants? Jeez. And then she said she was happy with that "performance"? Have her try out different things.

I haven't watched last night's episode yet (didn't get much sleep the night before and fell asleep 15 minutes in last night) but I love this show! Just wanted to say hi to my fellow T&T lovers!

I was glad to see Logan's mom say she was taking a break from pageants. And what was up with creepy guy judge commenting on the 18year olds, thought he was gross. And that so silly to have a 20 year old up against babies, but I suppose they all knew what they signed up for.
It's a train wreck. That older sister, Kylie or kaylie or whatever, she was breaking my heart. I was glad she beat her sister.

I caught a bit of this very early this a.m.
My take was: Some people snack on rocks (another show) and some people tart their little girls up and stick them on a stage to prance around. Both seem abnormal to me.

While little girls may like "dress up" this is taking it to the extreme. Those mothers need help (IMHO).

I think some of the girls enjoy the pageant stuff and if they do, and their parents can afford it, go for it! It's the ones who are obviously not into it that bother me.

Kylie did a much better job than Karley, and that's why she won. She didn't whine and act the fool while she was getting ready either. I don't think they should have ever put them in a pageant where they were in the same age division:sad2:

That little Paisley was just adorable and seemed to really enjoy doing her thing.

I caught that too. That poor little girl is trying so hard to make her mother proud of her. It is like she is going out of her way to be invisible in an attempt to make mom's life easier.

Did anyone get grossed out by the little girl who kept eating her boogers in gymnastics and mom laughed and said she was having a "snack". Where is the throw up smilie? Looked like lots of nose picking last night.

Watching it now on my DVR. I loving the older sister. Such a sweet beautiful little girl I'm noticing how the mom favors the youngest. It breaks my heart. Just saw Paisley eating her lunch. In her defense she does have 2 older brothers!

Don't think I'm liking the idea of sisters being against each other. The parents should be ashamed.

I'm in! I have been trying to catch up on T&T on On Demand. Are Braxton and Olivia from the new season? If so, I have caught their episodes. This is definitely one of my guilty pleasures.

:scared1: Logan's mom flopped her around that stage like a rag doll. I couldn't believe it.

First of all, who names their daughter 'Paisley'? To me, paisley is a pattern on a fabric. O.o

I watched both episodes last night, and I couldn't believe how they put all the girls, 2 to 20, in the running for the same crown. When the older girl won, I wasn't surprised. She looked like she had already gotten a **** job, when she was probably 18! :scared1:

Also, there was another older girl who wore something like a Wonder Woman costume for her talent, and all they showed was her shaking her breasts around...same goes for the younger girls, strutting around in a costume is NOT talent! Singing, REAL dancing, and gymnastics are.

I got a letter from Miss Teen New Hampshire because I signed up just to see what would happen. In it, they said that there was NO talent required! :sad2: It was 1/3 evening gown, 1/3 swimsuit (AKA where I lose, since I'm 5'3 and 145), and 1/3 personality interview. Honestly?!? Talent should be MUCH more important than beauty. Meh. Pageants are just rigged towards the most 'beautiful' (AKA the thinnest and most FAKE) girls.

I like watching for the costumes, lol.

That's why they're called beauty pageants.

I love the editing on this show. Whenever a parent comments how much their child enjoys pageants they flash to the kid pitching a fit. :lmao:

I saw the episode with 2-20 year olds going after the same crown. I get why there was anger but the way I saw it. The parents knew the rules when they signed their kids up and paid the admission fees right?

I haven't seen the show and don't know *anything* about pageants. However, I think it's possible that there was a little asterisk on the sign-up form that said "we reserve the right to cancel/combine categories if a category's registration does not reach a minimum level" I've seen that happen at other age-divided activities. Perhaps when they signed up, there were supposed to be several age categories, but then they arrived, they'd all been lumped into one.
