Right now, we're talking about just staying on the ship at port in Nassau, but are there any amazing excursions that we shouldn't miss with our fully-vaccinated 2.5 year old? (If that matters still?) I think he'll be thrilled enough with the splash pad on ship, so I'm not that interested in taking him to Margaritaville or something like that.

When I cruised with my newly 4 year olds, we booked a day pass to a beach. It was walkable from the port, kids that age were free, and it was a lovely, relaxing beach day. I'm raising beach bums, though, so being able to bop between the pool and the water was more than enough to entertain them.

It looks like the attached hotel has since closed, so you lose the pool portion. Plus, I know our package came with an allowance for food that no longer appears to be included. Maybe something to keep in the back of your head in case you really just need to get out into the sand and sun that day? Lots of people just make Nassau a sea day, that's a totally valid choice. But if you think 2.5 needs to go run in the sand, it's a nearby and inexpensive alternative.
