Toddlers and Annual Passes

I'm taking my 2 year old in August, MK is the best choice definitely and rides I'm avoiding are haunted mansion- it's not the ride that will upset her, but I think the stretching room pre-show will freak her out, and possibly pirates of the carribean for the dark factor. you'll be amazed how much you will be able to do, even the speedway of you want to, I know my daughter will really love that as she loves all things with wheels.
shows can be an issue as she gets her wriggle on so I may not do Enchanted Tales with Belle as I think she may get bored.
other thing is plan to do most rides first thing as they will get tired as the day goes on and mine may well nap through the parade.
hope this helps

That's another thing I am concerned with is him napping! We are just going for the day (and live a little over an hour away) therefore we don't need a hotel. I know his grumpy butt will eventually need a nap....I just don't want to drive home then drive all the way back for fireworks. Any suggestions??

Bring a blanket to cover the stroller. Stop for lunch then Take a long walk until he/she falls asleep in the stroller and then go sit in a quiet place until he/she wakes up. They'll get their nap and you'll get a chance to rejuvenate yourself.

I concur with avoiding Pirates (loud cannons and flashes) and Haunted (spooky and dark). At 2, my DD would have been scared.

Thank you. I didn't think our laps would be a chair, but I was just confirming. I just can't picture him on the ride sitting by himself, he's so little! Goodness they grow up so quickly!

Our Dd sat in the clamshells on little mermaid and nemo at 15 months old, and she did just fine :). One of us had an arm around her, just because, but she was more than ok sitting there. And she's small for her age :)

Ditto the blanket....we brought chip clips to clip the blanket to the stroller's Sun shade, so it would stay in place.

We have ridden HM and Little Mermaid a number of times with our child on our laps. As long as they fit under the bar, they're fine. If your friends aren't large people, they shouldn't have any issue with their child sitting on their lap.
