Toddler (3yr old) Friendly Dinner Restaurant

Well, Chef Mickey's isnt in DTD, but it was AWESOME for the kids. We went on Tuesday night, and it was a blast. DS (2 next week) had the BEST TIME. He absolutely loved the character interaction, and the staff was friendly and very accomodating. This was his favorite character meal (we also did CRT and Crystal Palace). He also liked the monorail ride to get there. I would highly recommend it.

I don't think there are any buffets in DtD or I'd have been there by now! My dd (4) loves the Rainforest Cafe. Lots of "animals" and fish to look at and the food is good. There is also a McDonald's if you get desperate and you could eat at the Earl of Sandwich or Wolf Gang Puck's Express.

There are no buffets in the downtown area, however as said above Chef Mickeys is an excellant choice. For a non-character meal Trails End at FOrt Wilderness is a great choice and it is substantilally cheaper. Any of the character buffets at the hotels are great, and Boma at AKL is awesome, my little ones like to go there to see the animals.

Good Luck!

FYI - my 3 year old hates Rainforest Cafe, and he loves animals. For some reason, this place scares him. It's not only the "thunderstorms", but some of the animals also scare him. Just thought I would throw that out.

We took our kids to the restaurant at DTD that is a ship - can't remember the name. It was good, but our kids got fidgety there.
