Starting today (5/30/03) You can meet Nemo at the Magic Kingdom.
Meet and Greet sessions with Nemo and his Seaweed Friends will take place at the Transportation and Ticket Center near the Ferry Boat dock.

Daily, before the Share a Dream Come True parade at MK, a coral reef float, nemo float, and seaweed stilt walkers will float down the parade route.

Thanks for the info! I can't wait to see this movie:Pinkbounc

Thanks Steve. My family was just discussing whether they're would be Nemo characters at the park or not; and we were wondering how they would do fish since they have no feet? Can you give any detail on how the characters walk/stand/interact? Extra big fins?;)

Thank you So much!!!!! We LOVED finding Nemo. Hopefully he will be able to sign my autograph book!!!! It was a great movie.

I'm wondering the same thing. I can't picture character fish.

I'm thinking decorative coral built into costume underneath a swimming fish...maybe

I can't wait! I usually don't get my picture taken with characters, but I have a feeling if I see Nemo and friends I will be the first in line! :D

I was at MK yesterday and had the chance to see Nemo and his Seaweed friends at the TTC! (as well as leading the parade)

The Seaweed friends look like the walking vines at AK, except they are brighter green. They are on stilts.

Nemo is what looks like a small float. He is not plush - he looks like a plastic fish. He does have a bubble machine that sends out a trail of bubbles.

He definitely is just for posing - no autographs are possible.

Hope this answers your questions!

:bounce: :bounce:

No Autograph...... Oh well I guess I will settle for a photo then. It is wonderful that disney thought of the bubbles as well. Nemo has to be quite the site to see. The plastic must make him look just like the movie.

Saw the movie last night! Hooray, Hooray!

Trailers at the beginning that got good reaction from the mixed (and almost sold-out) audience:
~Spy Kids 3-D- Admittedly silly, but it looks like alot of fun... could have been a theme park attraction.
~The Incredibles- What a hoot of a teaser, Adults and kids were laughing out loud... then "11/2004" popped up on the screen, you could tell that alot of people were disappointed at such a long wait. Oh well.
~Brother Bear- Exciting. Rutt and Tuke (moose) stole the show with their schtick about "if you only see one movie this year..."

Nemo proves 2 things once again: You can make movies for every age group to enjoy together. -and- You don't have to be mean, vulgar, or obscene to make adults laugh... Just clever (something some companies may never grasp.)

We saw this movie on Friday-- it was sold out where we are at. It was adorable. Are the nemo characters in the parks to stay, or just promotional for the opening of the movie?

Thanks SS.. you know how much we appreciate your information here..

I cannot wait to see this movie.. I am sure we will go as a family, with all the little kids around....Mom and Dad and three daughters, ages 31, 29 and 25... we just laugh that we still do this as a group... :)

I took DS to see Nemo (or as he says, Memo) on Friday, and boy was it good!! We both really enjoyed the movie. There were some great trailers for other movies too. Brother Bear looks great, and Spy Kids 3 does also. I think I'll surprise him and not tell him that Nemo leads the parade. He would love to see him in person!!

Thanks Steve! We saw this last night and loved it:D

My kids would have loved to have been there for this! They want to see this movie so much!! :) Thanks for the heads up, Steve! :)

We went to see "Finding Nemo" yesterday afternoon (just DH and me) and we both absolutely loved it. The actors they chose for the voices were perfect, and I got all choked up at the end.....Disney has done it again :)

Well, actually Pixar did it but Disney was definitely wise when they decided to support Pixar! :)

I would love to see this little fish character. It sounds really cute. I hope that someone posts a picture of it soon.

DH, our 3 kids and I just saw the movie tonite and we all enjoyed it tremendously! I hope Nemo will be sticking around the parks awhile so we can see him on our next trip to the world!!!:D

It is becoming apparent to me that John Ratzenberger (sp?) is required in any Pixar movie. It's nice to see that they have found actors they like to work with over and over again (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss as Coral seems to be one of those too.) Can't wait to see if anyone else returns in The Incredibles.
