Hello everyone. Sorry for not posting the history lesson of the day, but I've had a really bad time at work. Anyways, here's todays lesson.

Today in:
1900, a commisson that included Dr. Walter Reed began the fight against the deadly desease yellow fever.

1917, the first troops of the American Expeditionary Force arrived in France during World War II

1945, the charter ofthe United Nations was signed by 50 countries in San Francisco

Hope you enjoy.

Ok, monkeyboy just PM'd me and informed me that I got this one wrong...boy did I. If WWII happened in 1917 I wonder when WWI did...1880 perhaps? Sorry about that everyone. It should be that the American Expeditionary Force arrived in France during WWI in 1917. Thanks again monkeyboy for catching that.
