Hi, today is my ADR date for my May Trip. Just wanted to share a couple of tips as I was able to secure all the reservations I wanted.
Be our guest, Space 220, chef Mickey, Homecoming, Boathouse, Hollywood and vine, Mama Melrose, Narcossess, Liberty Tree, Rain Forest, Tutto Italia, and few others.

Observation and tips:
1) reservation did opened at 6:00am sharp. I tried starting at 5:45 and no luck

2) the recommendation of having multiple tabs opened, each with one of the restaurants worked for the first 2 ( Be our guest and Chef Mickey) however didn’t worked for any other. I ended up closing them and opening a new page and logging in again.

3) if your dates does not appear open when you click on the calendar to select the specific date at the restaurant page, which happened a lot between 6-6:30, I went toThings to do- All dining and in that part then selected the date, the party size and applied the filter of the location to help narrowing the options and in that way works for all the ones that I was having the issue.

4) have available more than one credit or debit card as the card on file didn’t work, I don’t know why (I will be calling the bank later today) and ended up my husband running downstairs looking for my wallet.

5) if you don’t find the ones you want at 6 keep trying with other and then search back in a couple of minutes. I noted that not all restaurants availability opens at 6. I did found many more availability after 6:30 am. Literally did like 6 reservations between 6:30-6:40. By 6:40 am I had everything I wanted except for Yak and Yeti, which I wanted for my first park day, but that doesn’t bother me as I have Landry’s Card and I will be calling them tomorrow to make the reservation directly with the restaurant using my membership number.

6) also at some point before 6;30 and ended up sign in and sign out multiple times as it was not recognizing my 10 day window for reservation, eventhough I already had make a couple of reservations within the window time.

7) be calm and keep trying!!! By 6:45 I had all reservations secured.Actually, I have been multiple times to disney, so I do have a lot of experience doing ADR but always is nerve racking, and I noted that today was a lot faster than previous Covid times. I would said that the first 15-20 minutes the system had multiple glitches but weird enough during that time I was able to secure BOG and Chef Mickey.

8) the App never worked properly. All my reservations were done using the Laptop.

Hope you find everything you need and this tips help your journey of ADR!!

Congrats! I did my ADRs on Wednesday (at 3 am pacific, yikes!) and I had the exact same thing happen with the tabs and a lot of the glitching. I think two of my open-and-ready tabs worked and the rest were not acknowledging my 60+5. Weird!! It took me over an hour to get all my reservations, so I agree, I think that there was maybe a staggered opening on some of the times?? IDK, but at some point Chrome searching completely stopped working so I opened Safari and got my last couple of ADRs with that. (I know some have said the opposite about the search engines, so that's why I was using Chrome first but, hey, whatever works!!)

Honestly, it IS nerve-wracking! My biggest issue is juggling the days and times. If your reservations are not coming up on the days you want then you have to basically start over! I was wasting a lot of time trying to figure out how to rearrange!! So IDK if anyone has tips on that for future bookers, I didn't really have that thought out. But luckily, I got enough good stuff to start with and will play with it over the next two months/when we are there. I even was moving things around on Wednesday night, I swapped out a couple dinners based on cuisine variety and availability. I didn't realize I had booked Nine Dragons for dinner and then Yak and Yeti for lunch the next day!! Whoops! Nine Dragons was easier to move so I swapped that out with Chef de France, which was backed up against Flying Fish at the beginning of the stay which to me felt too heavy two days in a row. So I was able to provide more variety by moving those two reservations. Phew!

Today was our 60+7 and we had luck using the fantastic tips above from @lizaisabel. DD was on a different computer and everything above worked for her. Unlike the OP and DD, the ONLY thing that worked for me WAS the App. I would say the App is the best bet since you don't have to input everyone in your party, just the total number of guests. It goes much faster that way.

had a similar experience this morning, app was easier to navigate than web page but ended up having to use both due to odd issues I was seeing. Wasn't able to snag a Space 220 or Sci-fi no matter what combinations I tried, but got the others I was looking for.

My window opened today as well. I was on 4:45 (central time) but couldn’t book until 5 exactly. I too had to flip back and forth between app and website. My first goal was Space and I couldn’t get any. Second was Sci-Fi. After about 5 minutes I was able to get Sci-Fi. I checked for Space again and got lucky. Not the time or day I wanted but I’ll will take it. Throughout the day I have checked on the app and have had random Space reservations pop up but not the time I am looking for. I would keep checking. I thought for sure I was out of luck.

How many days 60+ were you booking for? In other words, how far out? 🤷‍♀️

I was 60 +10. I got Sci-fi for my third to last day and Space my second to last day. There was nothing closer to my arrival. Originally I had Space at 1:50 so I was going to have to change my park reservation but got lucky a little while later and found a 3:50 which is still lunch and I can just hop over.

I was 60+5, I honestly think that I had no shot at sci-fi or space 220 at 6am. I'll hope to snag a cancellation at some point.
So I read on another thread (I can’t remember which one) but they said to look at night, late, while you are on vacation. They equated it to the fact that when people don’t show up they get charged. So people dump reservations the night before so they don’t get charged.

Thanks, we will certainly be on the lookout for that sort of thing.
