What a day!!!
Wall to Wall Celebs, Press...and great PR
Regis & Kelly broadcasting from in front of the NY Skyline at MGM...... Good Morning America doing the weather
and press everywhere..
MGM was closed at 4 pm for the official celeb press birthday party....I know that the fireworks were spectacular
we saw them from Epcot..
Over 1500 press were and were given at least 3 different press pins each!!!! Do your feel your mouth watering
yet????
The Walt Name tag came out today for the CM's and they were allowed only 2 ea per day, we are hoping to get ours tomorrow...
The open edition Walt pin was gone after a few hrs...people were buying from 10 to 50 pins ea...but they
say they will have them in stock next week..Some people are asking absurd trades for them already,
and they are an open edition...
Press pins are all over, and they are pretty nice...
BUT...after a lovely party for Walt thrown by Cheshire Figment, and Judy Sue, down by the Pub at Epcot
and a lovely view of the fireworks, they all went back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a meetingand found a surprise
waiting....
I had to leave and drive home to my poor sick baby ( our 2 yr old baby maltese Trevor, who has an ear infection) and Raul and Kathryn, Lori, Judy Sue and Mike, headed to the Lodge. I got a phone call from Raul , as I was fighting traffic on 1-4 and he tells me that the lodge is full of pin traders...(why you say?) Meeting and greeting all of the 1500 press persons as they arrive back to try and talk them out of their pins....Luckily for Raul, he just happened to have his traders
in the truck....
That was the last I heard from him...he does have a change of clothes, So God knows when I will see him again...sigh!!!
