New DVC member at Poly as well. They said they are swamped so might not be in the system for a day or two. I can't wait for confirmation email. Bummer can't do res until 2/18.

Gave me option of Sept, Oct, (Nov/Dec I forget which - I think only one actually exists from other posts), and Feb UY. I took Oct with 2014pts loaded. Fits best with our yearly spring visits. Summer and early fall way too hot down there for us northerners.

Thanks to everyone on this site. It made research and understanding the finer points very easy. Now if I can just avoid AddOnItis for awhile (I suspect this won't be my last contract but hopefully my only Direct contract).

Awesome!! Congrats! I've been waiting for today for what seems like years but I ended up buying a BLT resale for my first. Now, if my guide calls me and catches me in a good mood, I'll probably add on a small Poly contract too. Addonitis: the struggle is real.

Well Disney pulled there deposit today. I assume that makes us DVC members at Poly today? I havent talked to the guide today but a couple of weeks ago they were saying the paperwork should show up a couple of days after they pull the deposit

Just got off the phone with our guide. I got the member number. It's official in my mind now. We have wanted to do this for a couple of years and finally did it. We are really excited!

Prior DVC members who bought Poly points can book this week. New members who bought at poly (like me) can book next Wed the 18th. All others can start using their non-poly points (7/11 rule) starting 2/25.
