Today is the day for my ADRs and Gues what!?!?

I got them ALL! Excuse my excitement as i jump with excitement. Let me explain.... i am planning our first wdw trip. And not only that, it is a surprise for my DD (11). So you can imagine my excitement when i managed to reserve, chef mickey's (she is still into characters ), Ohana, BOG, Crystal Palace, and all the other ones we wanted without any issues from the site! And I have confirmation and all I am so excited, especially because i was so nervous and scared from what everyone posted about how terrible it was to do the reservations. I was shocked it took less than 40 mins. From everything i had read in the past, it seemed it would take the whole day. I mean, i even took the day off!
Is anyone else doing their adrs? If so, how did it go?

I definitely don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sometimes it can be a challenge but if you have patience and a bit of flexibility, it's not a problem. Congrats on getting everything you wanted.

There was plenty of availability and times to choose for this trip. Much different than when we made adrs for November. Congrats! It is an exciting feeling!

It's better than it used to be because for the past few years, multiple online companies used bots to immediately nab the choicest reservations, then sold them to guests. That was why many people couldn't book Be Our Guest ADR's directly from Disney 180+10 days out at dawn, for example. Disney finally took legal action against those companies mid-2015, so the practice stopped.

I was on my desktop computer, so Internet Explorer. Then I went on my ipad and used Safari, since I used that last year with no problem and the same thing happened. So I just booked our first day and called for the rest. I never use the app though, too many problems lol.

I guess Disney makes them work. I think they will be answering phones, but I just had that panic moment this morning when the thought hit me haha!

Congrats to you!!! We have ours on March 21st...I sent all of mine to the IPO last week, but I am paranoid about handing all of the responsibility over to them. So I will still probably be online at 6am stressing about it.

You have a while, I actually do mine on the 27th, Easter. I had a moment this morning and I was thinking if things go wrong and I call in, are the Dining people answering phones on Easter??? I guess Disney makes them work. I think they will be answering phones, but I just had that panic moment this morning when the thought hit me haha!

My check-in day is Sept 23, so today was my 180 day and I get +10 days after the 23rd to book those days. I used http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.php to figure my date. Hope that helps!
