Roxie says hello! She's using the day to just chill. She's our quarantine puppy -- got her in May 2020. We'd been dog-free for at least 5 years. Figured our all (including DD21) being home would help get her trained. She's been our best dog of the three we've had over 32 years.

Sophie says hi! She is a 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and she is the silliest girl you'll ever meet. We adopted her along with her sister, who passed away due to health complications in 2020.


As a bonus, here is Sophie at around 3 months old.

Dexter (15, border collie/Norwegian elkhound) and Leota (1.5, Great Pyrenees/German shepherd). She adores him. It took him about a year, but he likes having her around now, too. He tries to play with her sometimes now - the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Thanks for such a sweet thread, Pea about our beloved canine friends. Dogs are the best!

My own Champ is an angel dog of God. I will always remember how God placed Champ into my life one afternoon as the most special birthday present ever! Champ loved everyone and his favorite human treats besides meat scraps from other family members (I don't eat meat) were scrambled eggs, popcorn, and graham crackers or golden grahams cereal which I fed him as a puppy! One day, God-willing I would love to adopt a dog in Champ's honor.

God Bless all of our dogs both with us here on earth and looking over us from Heaven.
