Khachaturian's Adagio of Samson and Dahlila is one of my all time favorite pieces of classical music.

One of DS's orchestras recently performed his Masquerade suite. Great stuff!

A friend of my dd's from her music studio recently played a Khachuturian Sonatina for a piano competition ... it was fabulous ! DD would love to play it, too ... but her hands are still too small !

Cool info in your post - thanks ! :thumbsup2

Our children's music school does a 5-piano version of Sabre Dance for their annual Spring Piano Festival. It is always a hit!

Thanks, Galahad! :thumbsup2
