On December 4, 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered the dismantling of the Works Progress Administration, which had been created to provide jobs during the Depression.

On December 4, 1991, Associated Press correspondent Terry Anderson, the longest held of Western hostages in Lebanon, was released after nearly seven years in captivity.

On December 4, 2001, stepping up reprisals for suicide bombings by Palestinian militants, Israel unleashed air strikes; three missiles hit near Yasser Arafat's office as the Palestinian leader worked inside. Thanks Deb. I appreciate you for doing our history lessons :)

I can't skip them even when I'm in Orlando.

Just got back from Epcot. Got to head over to the Boardwalk, in a little while, then it's DIS night at Jellyrolls :)

Jellyrolls . . . now that's one place I've never had a chance to go to . . .

Maybe next time . . . ;)
