Sorry about going AWOL yesterday, for those folks who read the TIH posts. I was flying to Mason City, IA to give lectures to the family medicine residency program, as a part of our statewide continuing medical education program. As Mason City is about 3 1/2 hours away, I had to go by charter plane -- a 6 seat Piper Cherokee. Small planes make me nervous. As we hit some turbulance, all I could think of was Paul Wellstone, John Denver, Buddy Holly, etc. -- Happy to report that I made it back, however, safe and sound. . .
