I have had an amazing day...

1) Got promoted with a pay rise without even applying!

2) House which has been undergoing renovations forever is just days away from been finished.

3) Am going to WDW in just 5 weeks and 2 days!

Does it get any better than this.....?

That's a wonderful day Jodie.
Congratulations on the promotion. I'll have a :drinking1 to celebrate with you tonight.

Jodie, what a great day. Well done on the promotion, way to go!!!

That's a really nice day Jodie:)

Congratulations on your promotion.

Congrats.

I must be working for the wrong company. Promotions don't carry a pay rise, and because of the "economic" conditions, 90% of the company haven't had a pay-rise in nearly 2 years (me included).

I am a "much appreciated and valued colleague in the company!" So valued they now want me to set up and run a Programme Office 70 miles away for a massive contract (in excess of £1billion) they have just won.

never mind...10 months to Disney

:cool1:  Excellent news  :cool1: Well done you! Congrats on the promotion, glad to hear the renovations are nearly finished. Now you can have a really brill holiday :earsgirl:

Do you think you could give me a "cyber" rub so some of your good luck rubs off over here :teeth:

Well done Jodie, I can think of only one moment better (wait until your first child is born - you'll see what I mean)
And Richard I totally sympathise, the compant I work for doesn't promote or increase pay unless they HAVE to ie minimum wage rise due to age, its so rubbish, everyone thinks travel agents get loads of free trips to make up for it but I've yet to see one and I've been doing the job for 6 years (excluding a year out as an estate agent)
never mind, at least I get to DIs all day!

Great news - congratulations! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
