Toboggan Racers at Blizzard Beach

Every picture, video clip, etc of this slide shows people racing down the slide on their bellies. dd7 thinks that looks too scary, although she loves water slides, and wants to go on this one sitting up on the "sled". Will they let her sit up on it, or do they make you lie on your tummy?

You have to lie on your tummy. Our just-turned-7 year old did it and had no trouble, even though he felt a little intimidated to start with. Maybe she can watch from the bottom for a while, if you think that will help her decide if it looks like fun.

I think once she gets there and sees that it is not a very steep hill or alot of water she might change her mind. Our whole family loves this and we race every year.
