I can't find the original post, but THANK YOU for this idea!! I tried it last night and it turned out great!!
As it were, I don't eat eggs at home (neither real ones nor substitutes), so whenever I'd buy some to coat chicken breasts, the remaining eggs would constantly go bad. At least this way I can keep the mayonnaise around for a while.

P.S. Yes, I know mayonnaise contains eggs. I don't eat eggs at home because for some reason I never make myself eggs.
