To upgrade Dining Plan or not??

We will be staying at the AOA Dec. 14 - 18 and have the quick serve dining plan(free). I think we can upgrade to the regular dining plan for about $17 per day per person. I would like to upgrade but the freedom of the quick serve plan is attractive. Do you think it is worth the cost?

It depends on your dining habits? Do you want to do sit down meals? If so, you might want to upgrade. There are certainly many really good options at CS places (you certainly won't be stuck eating burgers, nuggets, and pizza your entire trip) just do your research and think about your family and your situation.

Are you good with a sitdown meal every day (and probably having to reserve most of them?)

If you don't use the TS credits, you can use them for CS, but that would be like paying to upgrade and having the same plan.

i have this same question lol same problem too! but i think we're going to just go ahead and upgrade. we're on a budget and if everything is paid for before we get there, then excellent! we want to eat at nine dragons, that was our deciding factor

If you like TS meals then upgrade, it is worth it. If you do not want to commit to making ADR's it may be better to keep what you have. Head over to deb's allears and check out the menus. You can generally figure out the cost of keeping what you have vs upgrading to a different plan. The prices are there for you to use in your comparison.

I would go online and see if you can get the ADRs you want before upgrading. We booked a couple weeks ago and the only ADR we could get was an early lunch at Coral Reef. Less popular places had mixed availablilty and we just kept the quick service this time.
We usually book way ahead and make all ADRs when they open at 180 days. At your less than 90 days out, your choices are VERY limited.
