I am sometimes told by people here & on other boards (AOL members & non-AOL) that they are unable to view others Epson Photo albums; such as the one in my siggy link. They say they can see the thumbnail size photos, but when they click to view the full size photo they encounter errors. Just about everyone says they have newer machines and "believes" everything they have is up to date.
Since more than one person has asked me what could be wrong, I emailed Epson, since I'm no techie.... and this is the reply I've received. Hope it helps any that are having trouble.
The issue that you are encountering is more than likely being caused by
firewall software you are running on your computer. When you view the large
image on the site, you are in effect downloading the picture to your
computer, and your firewall may be blocking this. As a test, please try
disabling your firewall software and viewing the image again in full view.
If you are able to view the site correctly, please refer to the
documentation or technical support for your firewall software, as you may
need to adjust your settings.
If you are not currently using a firewall, there may be restrictions set by
your ISP. Please contact technical support at your ISP to see if they have
instituted any similar protection.
Sorry, if I remembered the people having trouble, I would have contacted you directly.
