To those who have not returned yet - what will get you back?

We had a trip planned for May 2020 which was canceled. We rescheduled to August 2020 but didn't want to deal with heat and masks so we rescheduled to May 2021. I'm now looking to reschedule to May 2022. For us we're looking for:
1. Return to more normal park hours
2. Return of fastpasses
3. Return of entertainment, esp. HDDR (was originally our "departure" dinner)
4. Return of tours - we had Wanyama and Keys to the Kingdom booked for May 2020
5. Preferably no masks outside
6. Re-opening of Ohana (was originally our "arrival dinner")
7. and, as an added bonus, my son is hoping the MK train is open when we go and Space 220????

My flight credits expire in Sept 2022 so really hoping at least most of this list is available by then.

Good for you.
Personally, I have not found a mask where my sense of smell isn't impacted - and I've been living in a lockdown state with a maniacal liberal gov that requires masks wherever I go. So I've tried them all. It won't change my position on this....and I'm not debating this with you.

I live in a state where they’re required everywhere, and I’m thankful that my health and safety are protected.

I’d like to recommend BOCO brand masks to anyone struggling with breathing. I’ve tried lots of masks since I have to wear them everywhere. They are barely noticeable! They’re machine washable and have a filter pocket. BOCO also sells those little things you can put on the ear loops to make them adjustable. Seriously, they’re the best.

I’d strongly prefer not to have to wear a mask at Disney, but we are going in summer 2022 and if I have to wear a mask, I’ll be bringing my BOCOs along!

Not sure which airline your tickets are on, but I thought our Delta tickets expired September 2022. I got online to double check a few weeks ago and now it says they are good through December 2022. So it might be worth checking if you haven’t recently.

^^^ This. Airlines keep changing their policies the longer the pandemic goes on.

For those that say not until your fully vaccinated....do you have kids? Kids may never be vaccinated for covid. Will you stop traveling or going to Disney until they are older?

How come your masks weren’t working in the fall?

They work great when people wear them! Fortunately, most people are good about wearing them in public places. It’s private parties/gatherings that cause most of the problems. This is why it’s great that Disney is enforcing masks. Masses of maskless people is a recipe for disaster.

Clearly you didn't read between the lines of my post, so allow me to be more clear. Good for you means I don't care what you think, what you have to say or how much virtue signaling and condescension you mask with your response.

Im not wearing a mask on my vacation. Go debate this with someone else and kindly stop replying to my posts.

I really don't mind any of the restrictions right now except having to make park reservations and no annual pass.

I was actually planning on doing all the festivals this year - F&G maybe late April/early May, F&W maybe late Sept./early Oct, Holiday maybe early Dec. then Festival of the Arts next year. But without being able to buy annual passes that is going to get way too expensive since I want park hoppers. The thought of spending every single day of the trip in just one park is just a no go for me. I'm also not a fan of having to make a reservation for the first park, we typically don't even know what park we want to go to until morning of so having to plan is just outside of my comfort zone.

I don't plan on getting the vaccine any time soon, I'm not old enough and am in the 3rd tier at best. I don't mind wearing a mask, would love not to have to but wearing one is not a deal breaker. We never use FPs and don't book our ADRs any further in advance than day of. We don't do meet and greets so that is not an issue, if I'm solo I will go to shows but if my adult son is with me we rarely do so no big deal there. I can't remember the last time we watched a parade. We rarely do the night time shows any more because they are mostly projection based and I'm height challenged so I can't see most of it. Not worth waiting in a spot for a hour then have some tall guy get in front of me or some Dad stick his kid on his shoulders in front of me. We rarely do the morning EMH and do enjoy the evening ones but again not a deal breaker. All the things that have gone away, for the most part, don't bother us.

I’m not debating anything. Nothing in my prior response was a debate, so I’m not sure where that came from. I’m literally trying to be helpful by providing info on an awesome mask. And no, I don’t read between lines on the internet

I understand that there are people who will wait until masks aren’t a thing to go to Disney. On the flip side, for everyone’s safety, masks are necessary until the pandemic is over, and there are people who don’t want to wait that long to go. I’ve found a great mask and wanted to share with others who may be struggling with their masks.

They are being good now though? And they were good all summer?

They were...gone...all summer.

They’re better now. It’s hard to have multi-hundred people parties in a jam packed courtyard when there’s ice and snow on the ground and the wind chill is below zero. Also, those who have had it have natural immunity for some period of time.

I’m not really sure what you’re getting at. Masks work. Science has proven that. Are they foolproof? No. Nothing is. But they greatly reduce the rate of infection. My son’s school is in person 5 days per week. There have been a handful of cases, but none spread within the school. Because...the kids wear masks. As a bonus, the rate of other illnesses (cold, flu, etc) is also down.

To your first assertion, BS! You're replying to my posts with virtue signaling and you need to stop. To your last assertion, that's why I clarified my statement. Please stop replying to my posts.

Again, don't use my posts to push your agenda or try to sell a product. It's a simple request. Please try to honor it.

You know what I’m getting at. Believe what you want. Just know, all, actual real world data, does not support your beliefs.

I’m not pushing an agenda because I have no agenda (viruses don’t have agendas either, other than to make people sick). Disney requires masks for health and safety reasons. I found a comfortable mask. I am letting people know about it. No more, no less.

I’m legitimately interested in this (not a joke).

Could you please provide some scientific, peer-reviewed studies? Everything I’ve read and seen (and experienced first-hand) has indicated the opposite.

That's not what I asked. I politely asked you to stop replying to and using my posts so you can push your agenda and to sell a product....and if you didn't have an agenda, you wouldn't keep inserting your comments on each reply. Please show some respect and stop. walk away. I'll do the same.
