To Stroller or not to stroller

I am bringing 2 strollers! A double for the girls and a single for my son. We went to the zoo on a nice day. He was fine walking. We went on a hot, muggy day, stayed all day and he wanted to ride. He and 3 year old were fighting for seats. Asked his dad to carry him at the end of the 6 flags day last week. DH said get the stroller, I am not carrying him around Disney. DS told me he will no longer want to ride in a stoller when he is 7! I think it depends on the kids. My DS4 has made it clear he is going to want to ride and I don't want a miserable war between DD3 and DS4 for a seat. Plus we are going to be there 8 full days plus travel days and it will be hot and or hot and wet. I would probably like a ride myself...

Def use a stroller. Even if your kids are too 'big' for a stroller - they will still want to ride come the end of the day. plus it is nice to be able to push all of your stuff around instead of hanging onto it all.

Can she walk 5 to 7 miles in a day with no problem?
Even if you don't bring it, you can always rent one.
But I would bring it if I were you.

We're considering purchasing a stroller especially for our 4 1/2 year old for our trip this coming January. She's big for her age, at 53 pounds and 45 inches, and she never uses a stroller at home, but Disney's a big place. We'll probably get a Maclaren Volo or something else that will hold a child of her size, and then sell it on ebay when we get home.

Last time we brought our enormous, double jogging stroller for her and our DS, who was one at the time. It was just too much trying to lug that thing around, etc. This time we'll have two separate strollers, and we can leave one behind (or in a locker) if she doesn't seem to need it.

Buying one, then selling it when we return, is STILL cheaper than renting ones from the parks - plus, we can use them at the resort as well.
