Okay, I've narrowed my choices. Sorta! :confused3

Option 1: Marriott World Center (can get this for just under $150 tax included)

Option 2: Disney's CBQ or Disney's POFQ (waiting for a quote)

Option 3: Try Priceline for JW Marriott (would love to stay here) or Renaissance (Renaissance pool doesn't wow me, but otherwise looks nice)

Here's our plan: Day 1: Sea World and then maybe hit Downtown Disney in the evening. Day 2: My DD and I go to Discovery Cove while DS spends the day with Grandma & Pa (DS loves the water, so he'd be happy spending the day at the hotel swimming and watching tv). We don't have plans for the evening, but maybe do DTD if we don't make it on Day 1 or just do it twice if it's neat. Day 3: Typhoon Lagoon. Day 4: Our flight leaves MCO at 5:30 pm, so I have no idea what we'll have time for. We may try to go to the MK one evening. Is it worth going for just the evening?

Seems like I'm all over the place with the hotel choices. Location isn't a big deal as we will have a car. I really like luxury, but I'm super cheap. I don't know if the Disney Moderates will fufill my need for luxury. I am not willing to pay the Disney Deluxe rates. I like the themes at the Disney Hotels and it seems like a really fun place to stay. Do people who are not really doing Disney have any business stay OS? The Marriott World Center pools and kids activities look great. So, given our plans where should we stay? Sorry if I sound like a complete nutcase! TIA

I love staying onsite but I think you would enjoy the luxury feel of the Marriott over a Disney Moderate.

Normally I would be all about staying on property, but it looks like you really aren't going to Disney, except DTD and you had mentioned 1 night at MK (totally worth it!!) POFQ is nice, we love Coronado Springs! But if you are just doing Sea World with a night at DTD, I would stay somewhere closer to Sea World.
