To online check in or not to online check in?

Would you all suggest to do or not to do online check in if you were areiving at SSR for a THV on December 26 at approximately 9:30 am.

My only request is by boat dock.

Thank you all.

I would do online check-in, but SKIP the section that asks about requests. Call or email your request to MS. (I prefer to email because you get an email response back verifying they've added it).

You can just skip the online check-in section for requests. (Sme don't know they can do that). If you check or typ anything in the online request section, you will lose the MS requests. I've had good luck with requests via this method, but of course, nothing is guaranteed and getting your request depends more on what is available on the day you check-in.

I strongly prefer online check-in because I am the one entering my credit card info, not the front desk. I've never been asked to present that card at check-in when I've entered it via online check-in process.

IMO it would depend on the requests I was making and how convenient it was to do so.

We've been using on-line check in ever since it started. Our rooms have always been ready and we usually check in early, especially during split stays. We have gotten great rooms, even though some did not meet our specific requests. Our Sept trip to BLT was a whole lot of special magic for us. We were upgraded from a 2 BR Ded Standard to a 10th floor Lake View, and they included daily mousekeeping. We will always use on-line check-in.

Thank you. I already called MS the DVC number and added my request. So you are saying I should do online check in and dont type in requests? Is that correct? Thanks so much!

My request is by the boat dock. What would you do? I really just want by the boat dock. What would you suggest.

Thanks.

Yes, that's what I would do. (Don't check any box that has to do with a request. Just continue on to the next part of the online check-in process.).

Good luck!
