Im trying to plan in our 11 month window for next May-June. We are shooting for our first 2 week stay (15 nights) after staying 10 nights this past June.

There is myself, DH, and 2 Ds's (will be age 6 and 8).

Right now in our 11 month window, we have enough points to stay 15 nights in a studio at BCV, BWV (standard) or SSR. Dh really dislikes moving and since he is being so great about staying for 15 nights I am trying to honor that. He is reluctantly willing to move ONCE! but that's it.

Or

We could book 7 nights in a studio at SSR (The guys have DQ AP's) and then 8 nights in a BCV 1 bdrm. Our AP's will expire in our second week, so I would really like to be at BCV that week, because the boys love SAB and DH likes ESPN so that would be the relaxing part of the vaca.

I think we would be fine in a studio as the boys are still young, but I would miss the W/D and the tub. (Not the kitchen LOL)
I am trying to save enough points for us to go back for Christmas also, so that is why the entire 2 weeks in a 1 bdrm. is not an option.

So basically should we move? WWYD?

I'd do the move....its a long stay and some variety will be nice. Plus I think 2 weeks in a studio w/ 6-8yo boys would be torture. (I'm sure your boys are wonderful kids....I just know kids are usually so high energy that having the extra room in a 1br will give you more of a relaxing atmosphere).

Also having a washer/dryer in the villa is great....you don't have to be dressed to go do the laundry or have to haul everything to the laundry room.

I think that if you can do the points, then I would do the move. I might even change resorts. 15 days is a long time, (I'm jealous). I would probably stay somewhere else the first week, and then move to BCV into a 1 bed for the last week. I assume you'll probably do the parks a lot your 1st week since your APs will expire, so a studio would work out fine, since you might not be spending a lot of time in the room. Then your second week, you could spread out in a 1 bed, do laundry;) and enjoy SAB. If the points will be a problem and cost you a future trip, suffer with the studio:teeth: ! Have a great time!

Plus I think 2 weeks in a studio w/ 6-8yo boys would be torture.

LOL Leslie!

My children have never tortured me before, but they have come close! 2 weeks might do it for me though.

Well that was quick! An overwhelming 92% say split the stay, so I'm going with the audience and that's my final answer!

Time to call MS!

Thanks Erin,

I forgot to add 7 days SSR, 8 days BCV to my poll.

The 10 days flew by but it was definitely more relaxing then our 7 day trips. Dh and the boys are very laid back and don't like alot of activity crammed into a day. They are not the WP in the morning MK in the evening type! (I am LOL)

They do love WDW so I try to work with them! LOL

If it were me, move and enjoy the 1 bedroom for the second week. Let Bell services take care of the luggage. They will move it between resorts for you.
