To lanyard or not to lanyard

I use a Disney lanyard with the ticket holder at the bottom for our fastpasses, room cards, and park tickets. It's very helpful. :)

You absolutely need lanyards! We didn't think much about it until we got some for the kids. They have so much fun looking for pins. It also helps when you are standing in line- the kids can't wait to catch up to the castmember and see what pins they can trade. It's a lot of fun! We don't really collect the pins, it's just fun for them.

Lanyards are great. I brought one on my last trip and had a hole punched into my photopass. Every time I had a pic taken, It was right there around my neck. Tres handy!

I used an lanyard on my last 2 week trip. It was so convenient to have the pass and room card in it. I also kept the safe key there. Couldn't think of anywhere else to leave it. I also kept FP's there too.

Where can I purchase just the zipper pouch for the tickets? I have a lanyard already, but it doesn't have a closure and is cracking.

Thanks!

We picked up a bunch of lanyards at our local Six Flags on their last weekend. They were on sale for $1.00 each. They came with the pouches for the cards on them.

When we were in Disney in August, I didn't wear a lanyard, however I did have one of the plastic pouches. I hooked it onto a Carabiner clip, which I attached through a button hole on my shorts pocket flap (cargo shorts, the lower pocket on the front of the leg). It was a greatly convenient place to keep KTTW, and Fastpasses for our whole group, so I could run to an FP machine, grab passes for everyone, then meet back up with the group.

We leave in 18 days (!!!!) for a week at WDW. As I'm starting to set things aside to pack, I'm wondering if lanyards are useful? I know some people use them for pins, and although we aren't collectors (yet) I'm wondering if they are still a good idea for us? It's me, DH, DS9, DS7, DD5. Thanks!

We started pin collecting 2 yrs ago with our first family trip. At first they were ok but they do get heavy to wear at the end of the day. This last trip my dd10 lost her lanyard at Epcot that had some awesome pins on it!:headache: So we have a collectors case now that is a travel one. It is not the biggest one kind of in the middle. Anywho when we go again I think we will just carry a few in my purse that we want to trade and not wear the lanyards. They are fun at first but then lose their flavor.:upsidedow
