To Kill a Mockingbird

I love that book, one of my all time favorites! I love the movie too! I once had the honor of having dinner with the playwright of To Kill a Mockingbird, Horton Foote, before we went to the opening night of one of his plays. After the play we were then invited to the cast party where I met Jean Stapleton (she is a very tiny person, I was surprised!). I was walking on clouds for days after that! It is a wonderful memory!

Loved the book and the movie - it's just hauntingly sad and beautiful. One of the great pieces of American literature in my mind.

(And, I totally agree that Gregory Peck was absolutely Atticus Finch.)

When I was in high school, we heard Harper Lee speak at a function and I travel through Monroeville all the time.

It's been years since I have seen the movie, but my first name is Gregory because my mother liked Gregory Peck so much. ;)

Great book and great movie.

Seeing a young Robert Duvall as Boo is nostalgic as well. :D

It's one of my all time favorite books :)

I played Scout in a local production of "To Kill a Mockingbird". The ham costume was not fun :p
