To kids club or not?

I am debating whether to put my girls in a kid's club one night and have dinner just DH and I. We are planning two nice meals - Jiko and Narcoosies. Our kids are very good in restaurants and I have no real concerns about their behavior. They have eaten at signature dining places before with no problems. So we are bringing them to Jiko and eating early (around 5:30). But I can't decide what to do about Narcoosies.

On the pro-kids club side:
- we want to eat a bit later so we can watch fireworks and I try to avoid having them at nice places during peak "adult" time
- I think they would enjoy it
- DH and I can eat a nice dinner alone and have some time to ourselves

On the negative I guess is really just cost. Even if it is just 3 hours, we are looking at $60 for the both of them. Is it really worth it when I can just bring them with us? We would obviously have to then pay for their dinner, but they eat much less than $60 worth of food. I am not sure if I am being cheap or practical! :confused3

Anyone have any feedback or suggestions? Thanks!

I'd do it! I wish we could've done it when we were at the BC, but I've got too many. You can have a nice night out, and the kids will have fun, too.

Yes, you'd be at $50 an hour! :)

Thanks for your vote!

We have don't it twice. The first time my DD acted like we were leaving her to savages. The last trip we took they asked if we they could go! We look at it like a vacation within a vacation!

BTW - They went to the Neverland club at the Poly.

:lmao: Yes, I know that response! Hopefully my DDs will be old enough not to care (especially since there is two of them)

I have heard great things about Neverland, although I guess we could do GF' club too. Anyone have a preference? I guess that is a new thread...

My DD (now 10 ) LOVES the neverland club and yes it does costs 11.00 an hour
BUT DH & I get a quiet time at dinner , she has fun and we all get what we want:)

She has been to the Simbas one at AKL but she LOVED the Neverland club-
She said it was AWESOME if that tells you anything-

of course her main goal in life is to be CEO of Disney and she informs CM's this all the time

They could probably feed her spinach and she'd still love the neverland Club

We took our kids to the Neverland Club in October and they loved it. They both wanted to stay longer when we picked them up and they had been there for 3.5 hours. It was right in the middle of our trip, and I think they liked being able to chill, play some video games and watch some movies.

My DH and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Victoria & Albert's to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
