To get AP or not???

I really really need help with this. We are going May5-12. We got the AAA rate for pop, which was 15% off($662). I have already bought the kids tickets and need to purchase the adult ones. I was wondering if I puchased the AP for one adult would it really save us any money? I am not taking into account coming back in a year because we probably will not.
Is it really worth purchasing the ap for the room only discount and the possible food discount? Is there a list of places to eat that offer the discount?

I'm always wondering the same thing. Should I just break down and buy APs for the fam and save a truckload on hotel and then have the freedon to come and go more often. The only problem is, I don't know the times of year these "huge" discounts are given...value season??? Also, with AP's you can purchase the DDE and get a big savings on meals at ALOT of restaurants there. Only one person needs the AP and the DDE card to save.
