I have never made a request for a certain area of a hotel, except when we stayed at the GF and then we requested Bocha Chica but did this through the travel agent.
I was thinking of requesting the north wing of the WL, overlooking bay lake if possible, on the 4th or 5th floor. I would also like to let them know that if there is concierge available I would pay to be upgraded.
Should I just take my chances or send the fax?

Send the fax quick!!!! They have probably already set your room, but I'm sure it could be changed. I definitely think it is worth the effort to try to make your trip as magical as possible.

I was wondering the same thing, and I decided I might as well try, so I did it yesterday morning. Maybe we will see you there, we check in on the 14th, have fun!

I sent a fax, I figured it could not hurt. To me just staying at the lodge this time of the year is a big plus! I am sure that we will not be disappointed.

Before we leave for the WL I always send a fax to request a room on 5th floor smoking, overlooking Bay Lake in the middle of the resort, not the sides and they always put me where I wanna be. They are so great at this. I even told them about my anniversary and we got champagne and a sweet card signed by the WL cast members. :)

I know they always have their hands full and are so busy, but the CM's at the WL are just so great! :)

SEND THAT FAX!!!! :)

THANK YOU WL!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
