I thought about posting this on the DDP forum but thought the DVC folks would give me a better opinion.

We are checking in to SSR 10/10 for 2 nights, changing to Pop Century 10/12, then back to SSR for 3 nights. We have done the DDP with great success because of the flexibility and it does seem that we come out ahead on $ at the end. We visit WDW alot so we tend to not be big planners anymore about where we eat and what we do on any given day. The resorts are very full so I'm afraid the TS meals are going to be difficult to find and we will end up eating CS anyway. Has anyone encountered this before? Thanks for the advice.

Have you done the DDP in 2008?
Starting this year, the DDP no longer includes gratuity or appetizer. (But an automatic 18% gratuity gets added to your room bill.
For me, that means that the DDP is no longer worth the money unless you can get desireable dinner ADR's. I think you loose money now if you use a TS on most buffet's and breakfasts.

Automatic gratuities on the dining plan are charged only to parties of six or more.
