To do before AK after hours

We just booked the AK after hours for February. I've heard so many good things about these events, that I wanted to try it. Even though it would not be my first choice for a park, it fits into our schedule.
We have no plans for the day and know we can arrive at the park at 7. So what is still open and would be good to do before all the non-event attractions close?
I checked what FP+ are available and it shows the following:

The last safari is at 6, and I assume it wouldn't be as good in the dark anyways
Are the other animal paths closed early as well?
Finding Nemo, Lion King and the UP bird show don't have anything that late - One of these would be our preferred option, but does anyone know when the last show is?
Rapids are closed for refurbishment
Don't want to go into Pandora until the event so the crowds die down.
Tough to be a Bug and Everest will be open during the event, so don't feel we need to rush there​

That leaves Characters or Primeval Whirl as the two things that I see open. Neither are things that I feel we'd be in a hurry to do (my kids are older and less into the characters at this point).

Am I missing anything? Any other suggestions?

We are doing MK DAH. We have a HS day planned, then an afternoon rest, then dinner at Storybook Dining at WL. We’ll boat over to MK and enter at 7:00 pm. Enjoy!

With AK I honestly wouldn’t arrive until 8:00 pm. I think we’d have a hard time finding enough to do during the event if we arrived early. Maybe a nice dinner beforehand at one of the AK resorts? Explore the resort and try out the night vision goggles?

I asked this question in the DAH thread for Animal Kingdom. People suggested Rivers of Light, but that was pretty much it aside from Primeval Whirl and Kali (if it's open when you're there). We're not going to arrive until 8ish. We'll be at Hollywood Studios before that.

I'd do safari, rivers or light and primeval whirl. Then I'd hop on EE and Dinosaur at the start of after hours

Thanks for confirming that I'm not missing anything. I need to read the DAH thread.
It seems odd going to AK but not seeing animals, but we are staying at AKL (Kidani savanna view) so that will get our fix.

I'm considering doing the DAH at AK during a work trip in Feb. If I had some time to kill before the DAH event I'd probably go to the Nomad Lounge and sit outside and get some ribs and a cocktail.

Maybe walk one of the trails?
And eat at akl before that.

If you want to see It’s Tough to Be a Bug, I’d do that before the party. The wait is never very long (and you can often get a FP for a show in just a few minutes). I wouldn’t waste After Hours time on it!
